Sweet Soil Winter CSA ~ Holiday Edition
Hi folks,
We're busy busy busy this week with packing shares before the holidays and making our family plans! This Saturday is our last Sackville delivery before the holidays, so your shares are full of what will hopefully be enough delicious vegetables for your own shared family and community meals. Rutabega or "storage Turnip" are a staple in our family meals, but that might not be your story; So I've included a few recipe ideas in case you need some inspiration. The braising/salad mix is a hardy mix of greens that be cooked or eaten raw. If you are cooking these greens, they are a nice addition to stews, soups or can be lightly sauteed a added to curry dishes or omelettes .... there are lots of options!
